My bodywork journey began in 2013 when I was battling some heavy inner turmoil. I was introduced to the Reynolds Technique which proved to be one of the most powerful teachings on the body-mind connection. I received tools which helped me to exist in my body at a level of awareness I’d never experienced before, teaching me to step into my power and develop my intuitive gifts. I witnessed the powerful connection between the body, mind, and all the energies within and around us. 

 

Captivated, I continued with the advanced courses for years to follow where I eventually met Chloe Cofresi, the founder of Beam+Flow, and I was fortunate enough to be asked to come on for an apprenticeship as a Lymphatic Drainage Artist. Beam+Flow’s holistic approach to detoxification, with an emphasis on female hormonal health, was the physiological perspective to wellness and an invaluable piece to my understanding of the mind and body. This inspired me to delve deeper, picking up courses on Chinese Herbs and Traditional Chinese Medicine. 

 

I spent my first couple years as a Lymphatic Drainage Specialist with HigherDOSE, an infrared beauty-wellness spa in NYC and then continued my practice with Alivio Wellness, a studio in NYC and New Jersey focused on gut health and detoxification. 

 

All this has led me to Casita Xenia, my home adjacent bodywork studio dedicated to the urbanite looking to find balance within the everyday city life. My goal is to incorporate the Reynolds Technique, Lymphatic Drainage and Reiki energy healing for an all around cleansing session to help liberate others from the heaviness of life so that they can focus on honing their own gifts to share with the world.
